¡ñOur Aims
    We aim to provide an excellent learning experience to our students and trainees.
    We aim to deliver skilled and qualified talents to the aviation industry as well as local communities.

¡ñOur History
    Our college is a general full-time higher vocational college under the administration of Civil Aviation Administration of China. We started to provide 5-year vocational education and training courses since 1994. In March 1999, the college was qualified as a higher vocational educator by the Ministry of Education. In 2008, the college was selected as one of the top 100 colleges in China by the Ministry of Education.

¡ñOur Campus & Facilities
     The College has three campuses. The main campus is located at the southern gate of the former airport covering an area of 26.67 acres; new airport campus is located near the Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport and covers an area of 33 acres; and there is still a new comprehensive campus which is under construction in Huadu District, Guangzhou with an acreage of 159.
     The college provides an excellent learning environment. We have over 50 labs, 27 aircrafts, more than 90 aircraft engines, and a large amount of aero equipment in our training base. The total assets of the college are valued up to about RMB 374 million, among which the teaching facilities up to RMB 100 million.
     We have jointly built up over 20 long-term off-campus training bases with airlines and industry-related organizations located in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Haikou, Changsha, Wuhan, Zhengzhou, Nanning, Xiamen, etc.

¡ñOur Staff
     We have a great team of instructors. Most of them are Master Degree holders, Associate Professors, and Senior Engineers with hands-on working experience. Sixty-two instructors have gained their vocational qualification certificates. Thirty of them have been awarded CAAC Aircraft Maintenance Licenses, twenty-three of them FAA Aircraft Maintenance Licenses, five of them IAYA/VFTAA Foundation Diploma and IATA/FIATA Introductory Diploma, and four of them FAA Dispatcher Licenses.
     Furthermore, the college invites professionals from the industry and government to act on the Academic Counseling Committee along with visiting professors and lecturers.

    All programs are designed to address the demands of today¡¯s workplace and are periodically reviewed to keep up with industry growth and trends. The college has 15 full-time programs and 3 part-time programs.

      We¡¯ve newly developed a 2-year post-secondary diploma program ¨C Software Technology.
      In the sector of higher vocational education, two of the 3-year programs, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering and Applied Electronics Technology, are classified into the national pilot programs, and one of the programs, Flight Service & Tourism Management, is classified into provincial pilot programs. The Aircraft Maintenance Engineering program has been recognized as of one of the top vocational education programs.
      Part-time Programs
      Since 2004, we have started to provide 3-year adult post-secondary diploma programs designed for adults who would like to continue their education. These programs are Applied Electronics Technology, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, and Avionics Maintenance Engineering.
    ¡ñTraining Programs
    We are one of the accredited trainers and examiners of the CAAC Aircraft Maintenance License, IATA License, Air-transport Agents Qualification, and BEC. We provide periodical as well as customized training programs of attaining those Licenses and Qualification certificates for individuals and organizations. Our programs, which are geared to careers in global workplace, give our students the opportunity to succeed in their future career.
¡ñOur Advantages
    Close Cooperation with the industry & Broad Overseas Partnership
    We focus on establishing close relationship and broadening overseas partnership with the industries and colleges. Over 200 faculty members have overseas study or work experiences. They have been sent to airlines and colleges located in Britain, the United States, Japan, Canada, Australia, Germany and so on.
    The college encourages the instructors to further their studies in universities and update their skills in the industries. The college also initiates instructor exchange programs with overseas and domestic partners. Through these exchange programs, the college combines the strength of applied education and theoretical learning.
    The college highlights its partnership with overseas institutions that it has developed to address the demands of the global aviation industry. The college has four joint programs with Seneca College of Applied Arts & Technology in Toronto, Canada. They are Flight Service & Tourism Management, Computer Engineering Technology, Computer Programmer, Computer Networking and Technical Support. The college has 3 joint programs with Canadore College of Applied Arts & Technology in Northbay, Canada. The joint programs are Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Structure Repair and Avionics Repair. To deliver skilled aircraft maintenance technicians to the aviation industry in Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education and our college have jointly developed a Higher Diploma Program in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering.
    Intensive practical training
    Our training offers our students and our trainees valuable hands-on experience along with a classroom education. And our intensive practical training arms our students with the skills they need to enter the aviation industry.
¡ñEmployment Prospects
    Our education is employment-oriented. We highlight the four focuses in learning: basic theory, English proficiency, computer skills and hands-on practice. Our programs also help the students with preparation work for positions they will apply for. Every graduate is about to obtain two certificates ¨C the post-secondary diploma issued by the college and a vocational qualification certificate issued by relevant authority. Graduates of our joint programs are widely welcome by domestic and overseas aviation enterprises for their skillfulness, vocational proficiency and attitude, and communication ability.
    We have a vast network of people, activities and services supporting our students to prepare for their successful, real-world career. This network successfully combines instructors¡¯ continuing improvement with students¡¯ field placement and students¡¯ employment channels. With this multifunctional network, our graduates¡¯ employment rate keeps stably over 90% in recent years. And over 100 graduates of joint programs were recruited by Singapore Airlines, Asiana Airlines, Finnair, Macau Airport and other famous companies.
